Lila discovered yoga in 1999 and has been practicing ever since. She found it as a way to ease both her depression and anxiety and a much needed tool to break away from the mental gymnastics going on in her head. She has studied many forms of both yoga and meditation throughout the years and completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2008 through Yogaworks. Lila has a simple approach yet dynamic class that incorporates mindfulness, balance, strength, flexibility, humor, and a little rock and roll. She says, “my intention for my students is to always walk out of class with more peace than they entered with.” She has a playful way of creating space for her students to get in touch with their spirit, light, and the love within them.
